About Lyndsey
My love of flowers began as a child in the gardens of my mother and grandmother. In the front yard of my childhood home white birch trees, a dogwood and weeping cherry tree grew. I loved my mother’s peonies and watching the ants help them to open. Orange lilies leaned into our little street. Down the road my Aunt Bunny would enlist my help to plant petunias. I was surrounded.
As a girl I remember my grandmother spending lots of time weeding in her full, English style garden. She would take me on walks to pick Queen Anne’s Lace and we’d dye them with food coloring. A striking red rose bush grew by the door to her kitchen. The happy faces of the daffodils and crocuses her and my grandfather planted brought us joy each spring.
For many years my father drove around in his red diesel utility pick up donning the plate
“Village Gardener”. His clients trusted him to keep their properties looking beautiful and well cared for. My grandparents, great grandparents, and extended family grew fruit trees for generations. A great love for the gifts of Earth and the blessing to be able to share those gifts with others has always been in them, and so it is in me.
Floral design has developed into so much more than a means to provide. It has allowed me to be a part of your happiest celebrations, and it has also given me the opportunity to help bring comfort during your most difficult times. I consider that a great honor and a privilege.
Over time I have explored many aspects of the business and discovered a love for decorating porches and teaching classes in addition to my day to day design work. A special thanks to the people who took a chance on me, took a liking to me and have given me opportunity after opportunity to grow and reach new customers.

When you support my business, you are allowing a young mother to provide and be present in an evermore challenging world. You are directly contributing to the quality of life of my family. You are helping to put me in a position to give back.
It has always been important to me to design with energy and intention in mind, and I look forward to showing you my unique style and interpretation.
I am grateful for your consideration, your time and your business.
With love and warm regards,
Lyndsey
